Canine Alert Search Teams was incorporated as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization in 2005. Our mission is to provide, at no cost, highly trained Search and Rescue canine teams to New Hampshire governmental agencies along the Route 101 corridor from Keene to Milford.

Our members are required to have MLPI, ICS/NIMS, SOLO Wilderness First Aid, CPR, FUNSAR. Our primary area of expertise is using our teams in a wilderness environment.

In addition to the fieldwork, we have a second high priority aspect to our team. We embrace the belief that we have an educational responsibility to the communities that we serve. Every year we and our dogs go to schools, scout troops, dog shows, fairs, church groups and the like to help educate the public about all aspects of Canine Search and Rescue. Our audiences number from just a few to several hundred people.
